Former Lokomotiv Moscow defender Nemanja Peychinovic believes that the Russian national football team should agree to hold a friendly match with the Serbian team.
On Friday, the Football Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that the national team will play with the Russian team on November 19 in St. Petersburg. Later, some Bosnians spoke out against holding this meeting.
— I don’t know how to characterize such behavior of the Bosnians. Again, politics plays a role in the refusal.
Now countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina are under the control of America and the West. Such behavior from them is quite logical. I think Russia should agree with the Football Union of Serbia on holding a friendly match. Now the Russian team needs game practice, and the Serbs will not throw the RFU in the same way as the Bosnians are trying, – Sport24 quotes Peychinovich.
The International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) have previously suspended Russian clubs and national teams from participating in international tournaments due to the situation in Ukraine.
