Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Dmitry Svishchev believes that the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina should play with the Russians in a friendly match, despite the fact that some players spoke out against it.

The game between the Russian national team and the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina should take place on November 19 in St. Petersburg. Earlier, Bosnian football players Edin Dzeko and Miralem Pjanic spoke out against this match.

– The Bosnians need to play, despite the reluctance of important players in their national team. Someone may not have material motivation in this match, and therefore they don’t want to play. In a friendly game, there should be less politics and more sports. We need to develop international relations. It’s a shame when players come under pressure from politicians. Most of the people of Bosnia treat Russians well. Now many are under pressure from frenzied Europeans, Svishchev told RB Sport.

The Russian national team will play the first friendly match in 2022 with Kyrgyzstan in Bishkek on September 24. It was also reported that the RFU agreed to hold an away match with the Iranian team in November.
