Rostov head coach Valery Karpin said that he was pleased that his team got three points after defeating Spartak in the Russian Championship match, and not that it was Spartak that was beaten.

The meeting of the ninth round of the WORLD of the Russian Premier League (RPL) was held on Sunday in Rostov-on-Don and ended with a score of 4:2 in favor of the home team.

– I didn’t have to rebuild, but, as always, to suggest some points during the break. There were some inaccuracies and mistakes. But I would like to play from the very beginning as after a goal.

– What about the injuries of (Evgeny) Chernov and (Nikolay) Komlichenko?

– Not yet clear, of course. Tomorrow will be clearer.

– Do you get even a little more pleasure from the victory over Spartak than over the other team?

“Honestly, I’m tired of talking. For some reason you don’t believe. The first time, the first two games, probably yes. This is clear. Now, no more, no less. The pleasure is great from the fact that they took three points. From this – yes, but specifically from the fact that they beat Spartak, no.
