The Armenian football player of Rostov Khoren Bayramyan said that he was going to play until the age of 34-35, and then he wants to become a coach.
– It’s too early for you to talk about the end of your career, but how many years do you still see yourself as a professional football player?
– Yes, I myself sometimes joke: “Another three or four years, and that’s it.” In fact, until the age of 34-35 I will play for sure. But recently, at a training session, Viktor Savelyevich Onopko said something, it sunk into me … I spoke about ending my career in front of him, so he replied: “Play while you play. Until 36-37, keep yourself in shape, because then you will miss all this a lot. These words of his are very sunk, and now I don’t have such a thing in my head how long I will go on the field. As God wills – how much health will be, so much and I will play.
– Some people get tired of flights, hotels … Do you have enough time for your family?
– Enough. Maybe when you leave for a training camp, and you don’t see children for 2-3 weeks, a month, this is the only moment when it’s a pity. Yes, there are football players who say that there is not enough time for a family. If you are around the clock with your family, it seems to me that everyone will get bored with you, and they will simply kick you out of the house (laughs). My wife, when I was on vacation with them for three weeks, at some point said: “Go somewhere. You walk around nervous and annoy everyone here” (laughs). I devoted my life to football, my family lives by it, the fact that I go to training, spend half a day at the base, then come home in the evening – everyone is already used to this routine. And when the moment comes to end my career, I don’t know what my reaction will be. But for now, everything suits me: I have enough time for my family and for football.
– Where do you see yourself at the end of your career?
– Coach. I want to be and probably will be. I tell the team about it too.
– But there are terrible nerves.
“And I can’t do without it.” I see how Valery Georgievich works, he was all 24 on 7 in football, assistants, analysis of games – all this is interesting to me. Yes, nerves. But without such emotions, I would probably die of boredom.
– That is, you don’t want to be either a sports director or, for example, an agent?
– No and no. I want a coaching life, these emotions. I am grateful to God that throughout my career I had enough mentors from whom I studied.
– Do you want to immediately lead an adult team or first juniors, youth team?
– No, just professionals (laughs). I understand that first you need to learn, perhaps to be an assistant. This is a normal practice, in many places it is accepted. There are enough examples – the brothers Berezutsky, Kirichenko, Osinov. I would also like to work with someone at headquarters, an assistant, but not for long. I have my own ideas that I intend to implement. The main thing is that the players believe me, and everything will work out, – Bayramyan said in an interview.Russian newspaper“.
Bayramyan, 30, has made 9 appearances for Rostov this season and made 2 assists. The football player is a graduate of the Rostov Regional School of the Olympic Reserve.
