Miranchuk will be in the general group of “Torino” during the pause for the matches of the national teams, said the player’s agent
Torino midfielder Alexei Miranchuk’s agent Vadim Shpinev said that his client’s recovery from injury is going according to plan.
The 26-year-old Russian belongs to Atalanta, but he was rented by Torino for the season with an option to buy. Miranchuk played one official match for the new team (against Monza in Serie A), where he scored a goal and suffered a back thigh injury.
– Everything is fine. Recovery is going according to plan. During the international break, he will be in the general group. Now there is no point in forcing. Everything is in the final phase of recovery. The tour of the Italian championship will take place at the weekend, and then there will be a pause for the matches of the national teams, – Shpinev told RB Sport.
Torino is 9th in the Italian Championship standings with 10 points after 6 rounds. The team will play the next match on September 17 at home, and on October 1 will meet with Napoli on the road.
