The Uruguayan defender of Dynamo Moscow Diego Laxalt compared the MIR RPL and the Italian Serie A.
Laxalt became a Dynamo player in June 2021. The Uruguayan previously played for Inter, Bologna, Empoli, Genoa, AC Milan, Torino and Celtic.
— You have been in Russia for a long time. Can you compare the RPL and Serie A, where did you play before?
— Different football mentality. In Italy, there is more emphasis on tactics, formations, in Russia on some kind of intensity and physical struggle, ”Sport24 quotes Laxalt.
– What do you think about Norman’s situation with the national team?
– Do not know what to say. Each player has their own situation. I hope he won’t have any problems if he wants to play in Russia. But I don’t know the details of his situation. I think he should get back on the field as soon as possible.
