Torpedo defender Ilya Kutepov, in an interview with the Championship, assessed the prospects of the capital club to maintain a residence permit in the RPL WORLD.
On Saturday, the Avtozavodtsy beat CSKA 1-0 in the 10th round of the RPL, scoring their first victory in the current championship.
– Are you sure that we will stay in the RPL? No need to get ahead of ourselves, we’ll talk at the end of the season. There is progress, there is a result – this is already good. Of course, this has a positive effect on the game and the mood of the team, on the atmosphere in the locker room.
What if we lost to CSKA? Nothing would have changed, no one would have fallen into depression. But we wanted to win, and we did it. We will continue to work,” Kutepov said.
After ten rounds, Torpedo scored four points and is in last place in the RPL standings.
