Brighton announce the signing of De Zerby

Roberto De Zerbi has taken over as head coach of Brighton, according to the website of the English football club.

The contract with the 43-year-old Italian specialist is for four years, he will be able to take up duties after obtaining a work permit. De Zerby has replaced Chelsea’s former Chelsea manager Graham Potter.

De Zerbi left the post of head coach of Shakhtar in July, which under his leadership won the Ukrainian Super Cup in 2021.

Previously, De Zerbi coached Italian Foggia, Palermo, Benevento, Sassuolo.

Brighton are fourth in the Premier League table with 13 points from six games.
