Sazonov is not Pele or Maradona, there is no point in discussing his choice in favor of Georgia, Ponomarev believes

The decision of Dynamo defender Saba Sazonov to play for the Georgian national team does not arouse interest, let him play there, says CSKA veteran Vladimir Ponomarev.
On Monday, “Match TV” reported that Sazonov refused the option with the Russian team and decided to play for the Georgian team.
– Dynamo player Sazonov decided to play for Georgia? To be honest, I don’t even know who he is. And God be with him! Let him play for Georgia. What to pay attention to? Is it Pele or Maradona? Why discuss it at all? I don’t even want to think about it,” Ponomarev told Match TV.
