Franco Camozzi, a former adviser to the ex-owner of Spartak Leonid Fedun, claims that if Massimo Carrera is appointed head coach of Juventus, the Italian will lead Turin to victory in the championship.

Earlier, Italian journalist Antonello Angelini reported that 58-year-old Carrera is one of the contenders for the post of head coach of the club from Turin instead of Massimiliano Allegri.

– Carrera has all the data to coach Juventus. Moreover, joining the club in the middle of the season is nothing new for him. If Carrera takes over Juventus, he will make them champions. So it was in Spartak. I think he can win the Scudetto together with the Turints, – Sport24 quotes Camozzi.

Carrera had already worked at Juventus when he was part of the coaching staff of the ex-coach of Turin Antonio Conte. He also played for the club from 1991 to 1996.

In seven starting rounds of the Italian championship this season, the Turin team scored 10 points and is in eighth place.
