“Motherland” from the First League in September has already signed three Brazilians, including the ex-midfielder “Zenith”
The MELBET First League club Rodina announced the signing of contracts with two players from Brazil.
The press service of the Moscow team entered into an agreement with the former Zenit midfielder, 33-year-old Jose Mauricio. As part of the “blue-white-blue” he became the owner of the Cup of Russia. The midfielder is also well known to the fans of Grozny Akhmat, whose colors he defended from 2010 to 2015.
In addition, Rodina was strengthened by the 27-year-old Brazilian defender Ailton Ferreira Silva. Silva is the champion of Azerbaijan with Qarabag and the silver medalist of the Danish Championship with Midtjylland.
In early September, another Brazilian midfielder, Wesley Nata, became a newcomer to Rodina. The 27-year-old began his career at the Chapecoens. In 2019, Nata signed a contract with the Bulgarian club Tsarsko Selo. A season later, he moved to Riga.
