“Without Russia, this world will not go anywhere” – Gadzhiev on Russia’s non-admission to the Euro 2024 draw
Former coach of the Russian national team Gadzhi Gadzhiev called the national team’s exclusion from the draw for the European Championship 2024 expected.
On the inadmissibility of the Russian team to the draw, it became known on Tuesday.
It was expected, of course. The UEFA decision is 100% politicized, there is nothing new here. What are we to do now? Here a lot will depend on us. We need to continue popularizing football in Russia, making competitions interesting and vibrant. We will still go back there. Without Russia, this world will not go anywhere. I’m sure we’ll only come back stronger. We need to recognize this and move on,” Hajiyev told RB Sport.
The UEFA EURO 2024 draw will take place on 9 October.
