Ronaldo says he wants to play in the European Championship in 2024
Manchester United and Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo has said he has no plans to retire from the national team until at least the end of the European Championship in 2024.
— I still feel motivated, my ambitions are high. My journey with the national team is not over yet. We have a lot of high-quality youth, and I want to be at Euro 2024, – quotes the words of the Renascenca footballer.
Ronaldo is Portugal’s all-time top scorer with 117 goals in 189 matches. The forward played at the European Championships in 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020, as well as at the World Championships in 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018. During the European Championship 2024, which will be held in Germany, Ronaldo will be 39 years old.
