Torpedo defender Ilya Kutepov spoke about the reason why he did not talk to Leonid Fedun after leaving Spartak.

At the end of last season, Kutepov left Spartak, for which he had played since 2012, and signed a contract with Torpedo.

– Toward the end of the season, I realized that I would not stay at Spartak, although no one informed me about this. I took it for granted, I had a lingering injury. Yes, at some point we agreed, but, apparently, it was not my destiny to stay. I have no complaints against anyone – everyone can be understood.

I did not speak to either Fedun or Cattani. Yes, I talked with the guys, the staff, the medical staff, but there was no farewell to the management – neither from me, nor from their side. I took it easy. Why didn’t you say goodbye to Fedun? Yes, he has a lot of things to do, why else would he talk to me? And without me there is something to do.

Of the players, there were those who, until the last, said: “Yes, now you will sign a contract.” Last day, yes. We constantly see each other with Roma Zobnin, we are neighbors. I didn’t say goodbye to anyone – we will still meet with everyone on the field, ”Kutepov told the Championship.
