Torpedo defender Ilya Kutepov spoke about the most emotional case in his career involving the former head coach of the Russian national team Stanislav Cherchesov.
– In my career, the toughest dressing was from Cherchesov. The national team and I went to play a friendly match in Qatar. During the break, they sat down in the locker room, and then Salamych began to destroy everything without talking: he threw a bottle at the wall. It was very emotional, it was good for us then,” Kutepov told the “Championship”.
Kutepov played for the Russian national team from 2016 to 2020. The defender made 13 appearances for the national team, including five games at the 2018 World Cup.
