Kovalenko told how “Wings of the Soviets” were able to intercept him from “Rubin”
The midfielder of Sochi, who plays on loan for Krylya Sovetov, Alexander Kovalenko, told how he could go to Rubin Kazan, but ended up in the Samara team.
Kovalenko moved to Wings in February from Chertanovo. In July, he signed a contract with Sochi, but on loan until the end of the season he will play for the Samara team.
– I then played for Chertanovo. After one of the games, Oleg Yarovinsky (Sports Director of Rubin – Approx. “Match TV”) called me and asked if I would like to go to them. We agreed to keep in touch. And almost immediately Chertanovo received an official offer from Wings. And we haven’t talked to Rubin since then, ”Kovalenko told RB Sport.
19-year-old Kovalenko scored 1 goal and gave 2 assists in 10 WORLD RPL matches this season.
