Kvaratskhelia’s goal helped the Georgian team beat the team of North Macedonia and reach the second division of the League of Nations

The Georgian national football team defeated the team of North Macedonia in the group stage match of the League of Nations and advanced to Division B ahead of schedule.
The meeting of group 4 of division C was held on Friday in Tbilisi and ended with a score of 2:0. The first goal was scored after an own goal by the guests’ midfielder Boyan Miovski, who doubled the advantage of the Georgian team, Napoli midfielder Khvich Kvaratskhelia, who previously played for Rubin Kazan.
The Georgian team leads the quartet with 13 points. The team secured a promotion in the division ahead of schedule. North Macedonia (7) is in second place.
