The Netherlands beat Belgium in the Nations League match, the French lost to the Danes

Part of the final matches of the group stage of the League of Nations took place.

In Group 1 of League A, the French team lost away to the Danish team – 0:2. The French took third place in the group, but they could have been completely relegated to League B. To do this, the Austrian team had to beat the Croats, but this did not happen. Croatia comfortably beat the opponent with a score of 3:1 and advanced to the playoff stage. The Austrians are relegated to League B.

In the fourth group of League A, the Netherlands team beat Belgium at home – 1: 0. The Netherlands scored 16 points, finished first in the fourth group of League A and will play in the playoffs. In the other match of the group, Poland defeated Wales (1:0). The Welsh took the last, fourth place with one point and were relegated to League B.

In the Group 1 League C match, the Faroe Islands team beat the Turkish team – 2: 1. The Turks were deprived of motivation – they guaranteed themselves the first place ahead of schedule. In a parallel match of the quartet, Luxembourg beat Lithuania 1:0 at home.

The Lithuanian team took fourth place with one point, in March 2024 they will play in the joints for maintaining their residence in League C.
