The mother of an autistic boy who suffered from the actions of Cristiano Ronaldo, who broke his phone, demands from the Football Association of England (FA) not to allow the Portuguese to escape punishment.

Earlier, the Manchester United striker hit 14-year-old Jacob Harding, who suffers from autism and dyspraxia, on the arm after the Manchester club suffered a 1-0 defeat by Everton at Goodison Park in April. As a result, the boy’s phone fell to the ground and broke. Ronaldo was accused of violating the rules of the association.

Ronaldo later apologized to the teenager but was questioned by police in connection with the alleged attack and damage.

“People are following me, saying that I bring up the topic again, but I didn’t know anything about it. He should have been dealt with six months ago. My son talks every day about what happened to him. He still hasn’t got his phone back,” says the boy’s mother.

The police paid for the repair of the phone, but the mother believes that Ronaldo should have done it.

– He had to pay. He is the one who caused all this. It confuses me – he can attack the child and behave as usual. How can he sleep at night knowing the suffering he has caused to a young fan? He suggested we meet and said he was sorry but said he had done nothing wrong. This is not an apology, this is an insult,” the woman said.

She also revealed that she had “six months of hell” after Ronaldo’s fans turned their backs on her.

Let’s hope he finally gets the right punishment. He can’t get away with it. His behavior is unacceptable, — quotes the words of the mother of The Sun with reference to the Mirror.

A Merseyside police spokesman said Jacob’s phone needed to be fixed while the investigation was ongoing. The phone is being held by the police until the investigation is completed and will be returned shortly.

Earlier, Ronaldo agreed to pay compensation to the boy.

In the 2021/22 season, Ronaldo made 37 appearances for Manchester United and scored 24 goals.
