Portuguese fans do not want to see Ronaldo in the starting XI for the game with the Spaniards in the League of Nations

Portugal fans are opposed to Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo being included in the starting XI for the Nations League group stage match against Spain, according to The Sun, citing a poll conducted by A Bola.
57% of respondents were in favor of the 37-year-old striker not appearing on the field from the first minutes.
A Bola also came out with the headline “Less Ronaldo, more Portugal. The article notes that Ronaldo, despite the status of the top scorer of the national team, should be left on the bench, as he has scored few goals lately.
League A group 2 meeting will be held on Tuesday in Braga. In this match, the last ticket to the final part of the League of Nations will be played. After five rounds in the quartet, the Portuguese are leading (10 points), ahead of the second-placed Spaniards by two points.
Ronaldo has scored one goal in eight matches for Manchester United this season.
