Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has questioned the legitimacy of Barcelona’s move to be able to sign and register newcomers this summer. Earlier, the Catalans sold part of their assets, and also attracted additional funds from outside.
— Is it fair? No, it’s not fair… Is it legal? I’m not sure. If UEFA allows this, others will do the same. UEFA, of course, has its own rules, and I’m sure they will consider all this,” Al-Khelaifi said in an interview with Politico quoted by Marca.
The Catalans have made a number of high-value signings this summer, including Rafinha, Jules Kunde and Robert Lewandowski.
