“The uncertainty was not with the team, but with the whole country. They thought that they would not beat anyone ”- Adiev about the Kazakhstan national football team

The head coach of the Kazakhstan national football team, Magomed Adiev, noted that he had to work on the psychology of the players after he led the team.

Adiev was appointed to the post in April this year. Under the guidance of a specialist, the team won four victories in seven matches, including twice beating the Slovaks.

– Uncertainty was not only for the team – for the whole country. When I was just starting to work, at a press conference, journalists asked the question twice: “Do you understand what a weak team you led?” To which I said: “How can you talk about your team like that? It should not be”. Both the players and the fans had such a moment in their psychology that this team could not beat anyone. A lot of work has been done in this regard. If the fans do not believe in you, no problem, but we must believe in ourselves. That’s the main message, – said Adiev “Championship”.
