Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has criticized the club’s treatment of Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I think the club is showing disrespect for Ronaldo. We should have let him go in the summer transfer window. You can’t leave Ronaldo just to sit on the bench. And don’t believe that one of the best players in history didn’t have a place to go, that’s a lie. The coach doesn’t count on him. I think the situation is only going to get worse,” Keane said.
Ronaldo has made six appearances in the Premier League this season without scoring.
