Dynamo scout Jovan Tanasievich told how he received a job offer at the Moscow club, as well as about the players he watches.
– I suspended all other activities for the sake of working at Dynamo. The new management of the club convinced me, first of all Dmitry Gafin. He invited me to the match against Spartak in February 2020, and after the game we met with Zeljko Buvac, who by that time had been working at the club for two months. A few days after our conversation with Zeljko, we phoned, and I received the first task – to observe certain players.
I immediately liked everything about working together. I saw people with great experience. With regards to the greatness of the club, nothing needs to be said, Dynamo is my second home, I have spent many years here, ”Metaratings.ru quotes Tanasievich.
– How is the working day? With whom are you constantly in touch, how many players do you prepare to report to the club for each transfer window?
– Most often I communicate with the club’s chief scout – Nariman Akavov. Buvac, after joining the club, created a structure, a pyramid with a certain hierarchy, where everyone knows what he is doing and what he is responsible for.
As for the players, we are watching players of different roles. But I don’t follow goalkeepers because I don’t understand this. We follow players from 17 to 27-28 years old. These should be promising guys who should immediately start playing.
I have a certain freedom, I can travel, observe, look for the necessary players. I also receive a task from the club. For example, look at specific players, and after that I make a report. Everyone’s opinion is taken into account, which is very important to me. For players, the decision is made first by the chief scout, and then by Buvac, who approves or disapproves of the player.
Tanasievich played for the Blue and White from 2003 to 2009.
