The organizing committee of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar announced that it had nothing to do with the “rules of conduct” that appeared on social networks at the tournament, and also called for focusing on official sources of information.

Earlier, an infographic was published on social networks, which notes that alcohol, LGBT people, loud music, showing feelings in public, photographing people without their permission are allegedly prohibited at the World Cup. The image was accompanied by the text “Qatar welcomes you”.

– The graphics that appeared on social networks contain incorrect information, its source is not official. We encourage fans and spectators to rely only on official sources from the organizers for advice regarding visiting the World Cup. The organizing committee will soon release an extensive guide for fans, which will be given a refutation of most of the replicated information.

From the very beginning, the Organizing Committee made it clear that they are glad to see everyone at the World Championships in Qatar. Qatar has always been an open, tolerant and hospitable country. Foreign fans and tourists during the World Cup will be able to personally see this, – the press service of the organizing committee reports.

The World Cup in Qatar will be held from November 20 to December 18.
