Lichka: “The first half of Orenburg is a mess, without running and wanting”

Marcel Lička talked about the victory of “Orenburg” over “Akhmat” (2: 1) in the 12th round of the world RPL.

We managed to work out a different tactic with the coaching staff after 30 minutes, because I have to say that the first half was a mess on our part, without running, without wanting.

We thought we had already won twice, we are already playing as champions, like Zenit, for example. And we had to fix it immediately, because if we don’t do it, as in the second half, with the desire to run, we accelerate with the ball and play more aggressively, then we won’t be able to keep up. Two big differences between the first and the second half.

I am very happy with the second half, because the boys went behind this first goal, to try to score, to look for the point. Managed to collect three points.

Also, in the second half there were some good moments. And there was pressure on the opponents in defense. There were two or three times more chances on free kicks to score a goal. We could score.

Won 2: 1. In the second half we could have scored one or two more goals. But to be honest we could have gone to the locker room with a score of 0: 3 in favor of Akhmat, because we were very weak then.

The RFU sees the benefits of foreign coaches working at clubs

Russian Football Federation (RFU) is interested in making use of the experience of foreign trainers by national specialists. The president told reporters RFU Alexander Diukov.

“If we talk about approaches to the work of coaches, including foreign ones, we see advantages in attracting strong foreign specialists to work in clubs and academies. At the same time, we are interested in having domestic specialists work alongside them, adopt their experience and develop professionally,” Dyukov said.

“If at some point we see that this model does not work, that only foreign coaches work with Russian players, and Russian ones do not, then, of course, we will have to make decisions on regulation,” the boss added. RFU.
