Teryushkov left the board of trustees of Khimki
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Roman Teryushkov resigned from the board of trustees of the Khimki football club near Moscow.
He noted that he had watched for a long time how “the club was tormented by the claws of a football-related party, how intrigues were taking place to change worthy coaches through productions.” According to him, Russian football, “unfortunately, is mired in intermediaries.”
– Khimki has grown stronger with the arrival of a new top management, I believe in them and in a friendly team of players and I really hope that the guys do their job worthily, without looking back at various agents.
In order to be able to openly express positions and views on what is happening in Russian football, I consider it right to distance myself from FC Khimki. It will no longer be possible to speculate with the club, the seal of silence has been broken.
I remain a fan of the Moscow Region team, but I am leaving the Board of Trustees for the reasons indicated above,” Teryushkov wrote on his Telegram channel.
Khimki is 15th in the WORLD RPL standings with 8 points in 12 games. The team started the season under the guidance of head coach Sergei Yuran, who was replaced by Nikolai Pisarev in August. In early September, Spartak Gogniev was appointed head coach of the Red-Blacks.
