Monaco midfielder Alexander Golovin believes that the experience of playing for the Swiss Basel helps CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov achieve high performance this season of the WORLD RPL.
Chalov moved to Basel on February 1, 2022 on loan until the end of the season, after which he returned to CSKA. This season, the 24-year-old striker has scored eight goals in 13 matches for the Moscow club in the championship and the Cup of Russia.
– It’s hard for me to say if there is a direct connection between his loan spell at Basel and the current performance, but from the outside, the time spent in Switzerland really benefited him. Perhaps he has matured in some ways, he began to look at some life moments differently, acquired some new skills as a player. Although I always considered him a good striker. Golovin played for the main team of CSKA from 2014 to 2018, after which he moved to Monaco.
