Earlier, the media reported that in addition to the 53-year-old Yuran, Lokomotiv is considering the candidacies of the ex-coach of the club Yuri Semin and the former coach of the Grozny Akhmat Andrey Talalaev.
Yuran’s last place of work was Khimki near Moscow, which he left in August.
On Saturday, Lokomotiv fired German head coach Josef Zinnbauer and sports director Thomas Zorn.
