The favorite in the fight for the post of head coach of Lokomotiv became known
Sergey Yuran became the favorite in the fight for the post of head coach of the Moscow Lokomotiv, Match TV reports, citing a source close to the football club.
Earlier, the media reported that in addition to the 53-year-old Yuran, Lokomotiv is considering the candidacies of the ex-coach of the club Yuri Semin and the former coach of the Grozny Akhmat Andrey Talalaev.
Yuran’s last place of work was Khimki near Moscow, which he left in August.
On Saturday, Lokomotiv fired German head coach Josef Zinnbauer and sports director Thomas Zorn.
The team scored 9 points in 12 rounds of the WORLD RPL and takes 14th place in the standings, being in the play-off zone. Lokomotiv will play the next match on October 15 as part of the 13th round of the RPL against Torpedo Moscow.
