Zenit CEO Alexander Medvedev denied rumors of a possible exchange of Yuri Alberto for two Corinthians players.
Earlier media reported that Zenit expects to get Gustavo Mantua, who plays for Zenit on loan, as well as defender Roberto Renan for Yuri Alberto’s departure to the Brazilian club on an ongoing basis.
“This information is fake,” RB Sport quoted Medvedev as saying.
In June, Zenit agreed with Corinthians to transfer striker Yuri Alberto on loan for the 2022/23 season. Goalkeeper Ivan and attacking midfielder Gustavo Mantua went in the opposite direction.
