Khimki denied information about the likely return of Yuran to the post of head coach
The press service of Khimki published a statement on social networks, in which they denied rumors about the possible return of Sergei Yuran to the post of head coach.
Yuran worked with Khimki three times: in 2008, 2020 and 2022. The last time he left the club was in August, he was replaced by Nikolai Pisarev, who has also been fired.
– Football club “Khimki” is not considering the return of Sergei Yuran. The information that appeared in the media is not true. There are no plans to change the coaching staff. The club’s management fully trusts Spartak Gogniev. The team continues to prepare for the match against Fakel,” the Moscow club said in a statement.
At the moment, Khimki is headed by Spartak Gogniev. After 12 rounds of the WORLD RPL, the team is in 15th place in the table with 8 points.
