The head coach of the Kazakhstan national team, Magomed Adiev, said that he had offers from the MIR clubs of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov on his Telegram channel said that Adiev was on the list of candidates for the post of head coach of PARI NN, which Mikhail Galaktionov could leave. In addition to the 45-year-old specialist, Kirill Novikov, Alexei Stukalov and Kurban Berdyev are applying for this position.
– We are having certain negotiations, but so far I can’t say anything unambiguously. Clubs from Russia are interested in me. I choose what is best.
– Are these RPL clubs?
– Yes.
– Now only Lokomotiv is looking for a coach. Are they interested now?
— I would not like to talk about any clubs now. There is just some interest. It is clear that, on the one hand, I would like to continue working in the Kazakhstan national team, but my contract is coming to an end, and I would like to choose the best for my career.
— The Football Federation of Kazakhstan offers you a new contract until 2024?
– Yes, before the European Championship.
– Still, Kazakhstan has good chances to compete for access to the European Championship. Finland and Slovenia are tough rivals in the qualifying group.
– Strong opponents. We must first decide where I will continue my career, and then purposefully prepare.
– When do you have to give the final answer to the federation?
– We are talking. The federation is interested, I also do not mind to continue the work, but so far we do not have a final handshake.
– Is it true that you were not allowed to go to Akhmat?
– What happened, happened. There is a coach there. And now it’s unethical for me to talk about it. Then there were games with Belarus and Azerbaijan, which I was focused on. Adiev’s contract with the Football Federation of Kazakhstan runs until the end of 2022.
