Brazilian defender of CSKA Moscow Willian Rocha said that he dreams of winning the Brazilian championship and the Copa Libertadores.
Everything was close there. An offer came in and I wanted to go. Sao Paulo is also a big club. Moreover, I left Brazil as a young man without having played there at a high level. I have such a dream – one day to play in Brazil, to fight for the championship and the Libertadores Cup. And I don’t even know. Apparently, the clubs did not agree on the cost. The agent just asked me: “Do you want it?”, And I answered: “I want it.” Then I found out that it didn’t work out. It didn’t work, okay. Over time, I moved to CSKA and I’m happy here, – said Rosha “Championship”.
27-year-old Rocha became a CSKA player in the last transfer window. According to Transfermarkt, his transfer from the Portuguese side Portimonense cost the Moscow club 2 million euros, with the player himself signed a contract until June 30, 2025.
In the current season for CSKA, he played 6 matches and scored 2 goals.
