Khimki will go to the RPL match with Fakel in uniform with the St. George ribbon and the flag of Russia

Khimki will play in uniform with the St. George ribbon and the Russian flag in the match of the 13th round of the WORLD RPL against the Voronezh Fakel, the press service of the Moscow Region club reports.

Khimki will host Fakel on Saturday, kick-off at 14:00 Moscow time. Earlier, Khimki announced that the proceeds from the sale of tickets for this match will be used to support the Russian Armed Forces.

– From now on, on our uniform there is the St. George ribbon and the flag of Russia. As a sign of solidarity with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and support for the defenders of the Motherland, the Khimki football club will enter the match of the 13th round of the Russian Championship with Fakel with the St. George Ribbon on the game uniform. We consider it important that the Russian tricolor appear more often in the framework of the national championships,” Khimki said in a statement.

After 12 rounds of the RPL, Khimki are in 15th place in the table with 8 points, Fakel is 13th with 10 points.
