Former Spartak Moscow footballer Valery Kechinov considers it logical for the Red-Whites to extend the contract with goalkeeper Alexander Selikhov.
The new deal with the 28-year-old goalkeeper runs until the summer of 2025, with the option to extend for another season.
– Extending the contract with Selikhov is a logical decision for Spartak. He is the main goalkeeper and most importantly – reliable. Everything is correct.
Maksimenko? It’s hard to give advice or say anything. At the moment he is the second goalkeeper. There are two options here – either you wait for a chance and use it, or you go on loan, – Kechinov is quoted by “Championship”.
Selikhov has been defending the colors of the Red-Whites since 2017, he has 66 matches for the team. As part of Spartak, the goalkeeper won the Russian championship, and also became the owner of the Cup and the Super Cup of the country.
