Sportbox.ru expert does not understand why Guillermo Abascal does not release a midfielder at the start.
CSKA won the first half absolutely on business. The team of Vladimir Fedotov was more aggressive than the opponent, and this came as a surprise to Spartak. Although the goal, of course, turned out to be quite curious. Roman Zobnin should have just knocked the ball out if he wanted to stop the game. And for some reason he gave it to Milan Gayich … Then it was up to Fedor Chalov, who took advantage of Mikha Mevli’s mistake and scored.
After the break, Guillermo Abascal released Anton Zinkovsky – and he immediately turned the game around with his magnificent kick from his left foot. Immediately after that, Spartak organized the second goal, and the army team did not seem to expect such pressure and dropped out of the game.
Fedotov felt that CSKA was losing control and replaced the leaders – Jorge Carrascal and Jesus Medina. Here the replacement played again – Oblyakov, who appeared on the field, made an assist to Chalov. In general, CSKA dominated the match more – and the ending also remained with the army team.

It is not clear to me why Abascal does not put Zinkovsky in the starting lineup. Today, the Spartak coach decided to play with two forwards and a diamond in the middle – apparently, he was afraid that CSKA would have an advantage in the middle. However, he also marinated Zinkovsky in past matches, and he has come out more than once and proved that he is worthy of playing in the base. Together with Sobolev and Promes, he can make a powerful attacking trio.
But Ignatov, who was chosen by Abascal for today’s derby, did not show himself in any way – and this happens regularly. He is a talented guy, but he clearly lacks speed and physical strength. Because of this, he cannot fully participate in the pressure. Hence the low performance.
