An anonymous charity auction bidder paid £200,000 for the chance to host a campaign dinner with former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson and ex-team captain Eric Cantona.
It is noted that the proceeds will go to the neurology department of Salford Hospital, where Ferguson was treated after he suffered a brain hemorrhage in 2018.
According to the rules of the lot, the winner of the auction will be able to take five comrades with him to dinner, according to the Daily Mail.
