Daria Karpina, the wife of the head coach of Rostov and the Russian national football team Valery Karpin, said that she communicates with her husband on the days of his teams’ matches.
– On the day before the game, how do you communicate with your husband?
— I know the approximate time when he is free. We call and text. At these moments, we can even solve some family issues. For example, I can even write that they turned off hot water (laughs).
Valery always writes from the bus that he went to the stadium with the team. I wish him good luck and after that I don’t write and don’t touch on trifles as soon as they went to the stadium.
— Do you pay attention to what the fans shout during matches?
– No, I do not. We have a rather delicate platform. Fans are well aware that they are sitting next to the wives of the players. And there are usually no unpleasant comments.
What do you watch more during matches: your spouse or football?
