Former Rostov midfielder Alexander Gatskan called the club’s performance in recent matches unsuccessful, but expressed hope that the situation would change in the near future.
On Tuesday, October 18, the Rostov club lost away to Dynamo Moscow in the 4th round of the FONBET RPL Path of the Russian Cup.
– At the beginning of the season, everything was fine with Rostov, but now there are a lot of games in the championship and the Cup. The health and strength of the players may end. All teams have a slight decline during the season. I hope it won’t last long at Rostov. We need to quickly get out of this situation, continue to work and improve our game.
– Such a decline in Rostov was due to a lack of quality players?
– Yes, there is a main team, which is very high quality, but young guys are sitting on the bench. They just become quality players. They need to fill the bumps. In any case, the Cup should remain a priority, it just needs resources, – Gatskana is quoted by RB Sport.
At the moment, Rostov is in 4th place in the WORLD standings of the Russian Premier League (RPL), with 25 points in 13 matches.
