Barcelona star Torres close to joining Juventus
Ferran Torres’ spokesperson revealed that the Barcelona striker was close to moving to Juventus before moving to Manchester City in 2020.
Barcelona signed Torres in January of this year.
“It was the summer of 2020 and we knew that Torres would leave Valencia for a big European name. With Juve, we have advanced so far in negotiations that we were already looking for a house in Turin. But the Bianconeri could not satisfy the requests of Valencia. Manchester City made a deal and Ferran Torres went to England before returning to Spain,” Hector Paris Rosa, CEO of the player’s agency, La Gazzetta dello Sport, said.
Torres has played eight league games this season, scoring one goal.
