Laxalt: “It’s hard to say whether Moscow can be called the best European city”

Uruguayan Dynamo defender Diego Laxalt compared Moscow and Milan, for the club of the same name from which he previously played.

Laxalt moved in July 2021 from Milan to Dynamo.

— Moscow and Milan are completely different cities. The capital of Russia is much larger than the same Milan, which is small and cozy. Moscow is a metropolis, an international city, there are a lot of people, and Milan is an exclusively Italian city. In Russia, I can find Italian food and everything I need, there are no problems with that.

It is difficult to say whether Moscow can be called the best European city. Each country has its own zest. I don’t know if this is the best city I’ve lived in, but I really like Moscow.

What place would Dynamo take in Serie A? It is hard to say. I can’t imagine Dynamo in the Italian league. Serie A is much more difficult than the RPL – I have no doubt. In Italy, they play different football, there are different people, a different culture – there are many differences, – Laksalt told RB Sport.

In the 2021/22 season, 29-year-old Laksalt played in 16 matches for Dynamo, this season the Uruguayan has played 7 games for the Moscow team.
