Abascal and Fedotov suspended for one match following the derby
The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU) suspended Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal and CSKA head coach Vladimir Fedotov for one match following the meeting of the 13th round of the WORLD RPL.
Chairman of the FTC RFU Artur Grigoryants said that both coaches were also fined 50 thousand rubles. Fedotov was punished with an additional suspension for 1 match on probation until the end of the season.
The meeting took place on Sunday, October 16, and ended with the score 2:2. After the match, a video appeared showing a verbal skirmish between Fedotov and Abaskal on the edge of the field after the first half.
