“Disqualification will not greatly affect anything” – Aldonin on the punishment of Fedotov and Abaskal after the derby

Former CSKA midfielder Evgeny Aldonin called the decision of the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (FTC RFU) to disqualify the head coaches of CSKA and Spartak Vladimir Fedotov and Guillermo Abascal for one match for their skirmish in a head-to-head match of the 13th round of the WORLD RPL (2: 2).

The FTC RFU disqualified CSKA head coach Vladimir Fedotov for one match due to a conflict with Spartak head coach Guillermo Abascal during the derby. Abascal also received a one-match ban following the incident. In addition, Fedotov suspended for one meeting conditionally. Both specialists were fined 50 thousand rubles.

“It seems to me that Abascal provoked Fedotov,” RB Sport quoted Aldonin as saying. – Statements about fair play were not very appropriate against the backdrop of the situation with the goal. The coaches quarreled a bit. I think that within the framework of the derby, this is a completely acceptable story.

– The FTC decided not, since he gave them one-match disqualifications.

— The FTC acted within the rules. In any case, they had to react somehow. Disqualification won’t make much of a difference. Coaches will prepare their teams for matches.

Abascal does not agree with this decision of the FTC. In principle, he did not offend anyone. Maybe Abascal is really right?

– What is he right about? Abascal allowed himself to speak and gesticulate to another coach. It seems to me that there should be a certain respect, and not jumping and jumping around. He pointedly showed his displeasure. Therefore, I think that he suffered a legal punishment.

– Fedotov showed a photo of how he and Abaskal shook hands after the game. Maybe it was worth it only to issue a fine, since the coaches themselves figured it out?

– This position was acceptable, but decided otherwise. Maybe they did the right thing. Otherwise, everyone would look and decide that they could behave in a similar way. But still, there must be respect for each other, a certain coaching ethic.
