Former Soviet goalkeeper Anzor Kavazashvili, in an interview with the Championship, spoke about his attitude towards the behavior of the head coaches of CSKA and Spartak Vladimir Fedotov and Guillermo Abascal during the break of the full-time match of the 13th round of the WORLD RPL, and also urged respect for the Spanish specialist.
After the game, a video appeared showing a verbal skirmish between the head coaches on the edge of the field at half-time.
On Thursday, a meeting of the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the RFU was held, at which Abaskal was disqualified for one match and fined 50 thousand rubles for a skirmish with the head coach of the army Fedotov. Fedotov was also suspended for one match and fined 50 thousand rubles, in addition, he was suspended for one match conditionally.
– I respect Fedotov very much. I think that such talent appeared late in Russian football. He proved everything with his work in Sochi. Now raises CSKA to a high level. The army team had many coaches, but they could not do anything with this squad. And then a very combative team appeared: competent, ideologically savvy and collective.
But for me, the manifestation of aggression on the part of Fedotov was very surprising. Abascal, I think, is used to calmly expressing his emotions with gestures, sometimes shouting at the players. But he is a young coach, a guest of our country. During his presence in Spartak, he made a combat unit out of the team. He needs to be respected, not scolded,” Kavazashvili said.
