Manchester United suspends Ronaldo from Premier League clash with Chelsea

Manchester United made a statement following the situation with the striker of the club Cristiano Ronaldo, which occurred at the end of the match of the 12th round of the championship of England with Tottenham Hotspur (2:0).

The Portuguese went to the tribune room a few minutes before the end of the match. The media reported that the player refused to come on as a substitute.

Cristiano Ronaldo will not be included in Manchester United squad for Saturday’s Premier League game against Chelsea. The rest of the team is fully focused on preparing for this match, – says in a club statement.

There was also information that Ronaldo was suspended from training with the first team and will work individually.

The match between Chelsea and Manchester United will take place on October 22 in London and will start at 19:30 (Moscow time).
