“Not small children to be punished for this.” Semin – about the disqualification of Abaskal and Fedotov

The former head coach of Lokomotiv and Rostov, Yuri Semin, did not support the decision of the FTC RFU to suspend Vladimir Fedotov and Guillermo Abascal for one match for a verbal skirmish in the CSKA-Spartak match (2:2).

On Thursday, a meeting of the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the RFU was held, at which Abaskal was disqualified for one match and fined 50 thousand rubles for a skirmish with Fedotov. Fedotov was also suspended for one match and fined 50 thousand rubles, in addition, he was suspended for one match conditionally.

– Every coach had such episodes in his career. Especially in the derby emotions are on the limit, everyone wants to win. And in my practice it was when I gave myself the freedom to express myself. Therefore, I would not approve such a decision of the FTC. Abaskal and Fedotov are not small children to be punished for this, Semin told Sport24.
