Sochi goalkeeper Adamov broke his nose and maxillary sinus in a collision with Vlut from Ural
The representative of Sochi goalkeeper Denis Adamov, Kirill Livanov, spoke about the nature of the player’s injury, which he received in a collision with Ural forward Ray Vlut.
On Thursday in Sochi, the teams played a group stage match of the Russian Cup, which ended in victory for the guests – 3:2. At the 54th minute of the meeting, the Dutch striker Vlut scored a goal, but in the scoring episode he collided with Adamov. Vlut was taken off the field on a stretcher, Adamov also could not continue the meeting. Vlut’s goal was the winner.
Denis’s life is not in danger. Fracture of the nose and maxillary sinus, surgery is not required, – said Livanov “Championship”.
Ural head coach Viktor Gancharenko suggested on Match TV that Vlut was out before the end of the year.
