Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag has spoken out about the situation with Cristiano Ronaldo.
On Wednesday, October 19, Ronaldo left the Manchester United stadium before the final whistle in the match of the 12th round of the Premier League with London’s Tottenham. Ten Hag said that Ronaldo refused to come on as a substitute, and the Portuguese himself referred to emotions. Later it was announced that the striker would not appear on the field in the Premier League match against London Chelsea.
“We are talking about only one match, and then everything will fall into place. I am ready to cooperate, and the club emphasized in a statement that Ronaldo will continue to be an important part of our team,” said the coach.
Ronaldo has played 12 games in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and chalking up one assist.
