CEO CSKA Romano Babaev commented on the rumors that the defender Igor Diveev and midfielder Bakhtiyor Zaynutdinov can leave the club.
CSKA it has always lived and will live under market conditions. We respect our players and understand that they want to grow, compete in the top leagues and have the prospect of playing in European competitions. Therefore, if the player wishes and receives a suitable proposal, of course, we will consider it.
At the same time, the club will always have to cope with the highest tasks – the work on the transfer market on the eve of the current season only confirms this. Breeders never finish their job of finding new players and the operational “reconstructions” in the last two transfer windows are the best proof of this. Yes, the market is now difficult and specific, especially as it is not easy to make transfers, even taking into account our sanctions. But I repeat: we have all seen what work we managed to do in the summer, so the current situation will not break us.
Therefore, we want to assure our fans that this is not a “sale” of players.
